In May of 2013 my husband and I were blessed with a beautiful little girl. She is such a blessing to our lives. I have had to make many decisions now as a mother and can without regret say that I am thrilled to embark on the adventure of motherhood. I will no longer be serving clients in the wedding industry. I do truly love helping brides plan their weddings, design flowers and shoot photography. I feel it is more important to be with my daughter and experience the moments in her life that will only happen once, and cherish every second I have with her. As you have found my site, I don’t want to leave you without a list of a few amazing professionals that I would turn to personally for my floral, planning and photography needs. I wish all of you well with your weddings and remember cherish the moment’s, capture them as they all happen so very fast.

A story of love these two do tell. You can see it in their eyes, their touch, and most of all how they treat one another. The level of respect and honor they carry for each other is powerful. We spent a cold chilly day walking around Beaver Creek. I enjoyed learning of their romance and plans for their fall wedding. Destination Wedding…..The Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, Colorado

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue…….where to begin. We started the planning process with Katie & Jeff a little under a year ago and partnered with them in photography, planning, and flowers. We so enjoyed the process, from colors, theme, personalization, ceremony, decorations, and most importantly Katie’s attention to all the details. Something old “The Stanley Hotel”, somting new a “wedding gown”, Something borrowed “A grandmothers pin”, and something blue “Sparkling Shoes”. Katie worked on each and every detail from hand made gifts for the quests with “recovering from Katie & Jeff” door tags, name cards, menus, invitations, signature drinks, gift cards, and a personalized snowboard (thanks Jeff’s) as a guest book. Garden roses and queen ann’s lace accented the vintage look and took the flowers and event back in time, a ceremony hosted by Leon Littlebird (simply amazing), topiaries tall with banners, a photo booth to party the night away, music for dancing, and more fun than anyone could handle. We have have to say, Cheers!!! to Jeff for the most fun, amazing, and unique exit from the ceremony…..boys carry the lady down the isle. Thanks for letting us be apart your amazing wedding, getting to know you, and much love to both of you.

Rocky Mountain Wedding Details

Every once in a while we capture a shot that takes an everyday wedding detail and freezes the moment in time. This image was taken while riding in the front of a carriage on the way to a location shoot with a bride and groom. If find you are at a location where you can take a carriage ride, do. This is perhaps one of the best ways to spend some quite time as a newly married couple following the ceremony.

Wedding Photography – Manor House, Littleton Colorado

We arrived at the Manor house in Littleton, Colorado around noon on the wedding day of Julia and Sean. Julia was all glowing as she arrived, and was escorted by her bridesmaids and mother. Sean arrived a bit later with his grooms men, and were greeted with Scott for a few fun shots of the boys. We rushed to get Julia’s father dressed as Julia and Sean were excited to meet for the first time that day. Its so exciting, actually either way you look at it, meet before the ceremony, or first glance at the ceremony both provide the same emotion. We loved that Julia and Sean had agreed to not Kiss until that first Kiss as husband and wife on the wedding day. We enjoyed getting to know their family and friends from both near and far. I think the fathers distance traveled was from Germany a good friend of the grooms family. Some of our favorite moments captured were when Julia and Sean stepped away to take a break with each other, away from the crowd, watching the sun set. Simply romantic. Note to couples…..take a few moments out of your wedding day for just the two of you. It goes so fast, and it feels like you simply blink and the day is over. Cherish the love of this day forever. Much love to both Julia and Sean……

Destination Wedding Photographers – Breckenridge Engagement

Just before the clouds and rain set in we met up with Katie & Jeff in their hometown of Breckenridge. They both had ideas as to what they wanted for their engagement session, what we didn’t expect was the amount of fun that played into the afternoon. This couple has amazing chemistry, in so many of the photos the tenderness and love were so evident, while in others their true fun, outgoing, and spontaneous personalities came out. We had the idea of Katie jumping into the mine car, Jeff on the other hand, orchestrated the motion. Looking forward to the wedding in August. Tip for couples, have fun on with your engagement session, show who you are don’t be afraid…..the results will lead to images like these.

Destination Wedding Photographers…Maroon Bells Bridal Shoot

Ladies if you haven’t thought about a bridal session prior to the wedding, then take a moment and ponder it. What a fun way to take photos in your wedding dress when you have time to relax, smile, breath and don’t feel any of the wedding day pressure. The best part is getting to put your dress on again, and who doesn’t want to wear their wedding dress a few more times. We spent an afternoon with Erin at the Maroon bells, taking breathtaking photos of her in her wedding dress. Our original scheduled shoot was during a termendous three day rain storm, our rescheduled day was perfect as the peaks of the mountains where freshly covered with snow. Thank you for spending an afternoon with us, and more importantly trusting our instincts and walking out on that log bridge…..Enjoy!

Gabi & Brian – Denver, Engagement Session

Wow! Sometimes the photo’s speak louder than words. Simply put, we had a BLAST with Gabi and Brian and can’t wait until we get to see them again at their wedding in June. But for now, the images are going to do the talking.
